Legacy Law Firm, P.C. Launches “Plan Caravan” offering Speedy Delivery of Documents You Need Now without Compromising Quality

Being prepared for the coronavirus means you should have an estate plan in place.  Period.  Many Americans are rushing to online and DIY legal documents, which means they and their loved ones are being exposed to documents that potentially do not work or cause damage.  But when people aren’t supposed to leave their homes, what other choice is there?  Legacy Law Firm, P.C. launches its “Plan Caravan” where attorneys and witnesses travel to you, so you can sign curbside at your convenience in the parking lot of your work or front yard at home.

We follow CDC guidelines along with extra precautions, and we have experience with working with clients who have health concerns prior to the coronavirus hitting, so this isn’t new to us.  We will visit with clients over the phone or by video conference to design a plan that fits their needs and goals, and then we will bring the documents to them to sign.  Right now, we are only traveling in the Sioux Falls Area, and for our out of area clients, we are doing the signing at Legacy Law Firm’s parking lot so they don’t even need to get out of their car.

Finding an experienced and qualified estate planning attorney is critical to making sure you and your loved ones are taken care of should something happen.  If you needed heart surgery, you wouldn’t want to see your family practice doctor.  The documents that handle life sustaining treatment measures and provide how loved ones are going to be cared for if you no longer can, requires doing it right and by the right attorney.  Now more than ever, it is imperative to set your Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorneys, Living Wills, or Long-Term Care Planning needs in place.  Contact Legacy Law Firm, P.C. in Sioux Falls, SD at 605-275-5665.
